After years of global expansion, ZOOMLION has launched its ZOOMLION FOUNDATION service solution — “More than you care” — providing equipment, operational services, and support for major foundation projects worldwide. A key case is its involvement in Riyadh’s Mukaab project, one of the world’s largest indoor superstructures with full climate control, symbolizing Saudi Arabia’s sustainable urban ambitions.

The project is in the large-scale foundation phase, facing complex conditions: drilling through 53 meters of siltstone, limestone, and moderately weathered rock layers, with pile diameters of 1.5–1.8 meters and depths of 60–80 meters. Rock hardness ranges from 80–100 MPa, making it a typical hard rock, deep pile project. ZOOMLION’s ZR420GW rotary drilling rig has been delivering efficient, stable performance on-site.

To ensure smooth progress, ZOOMLION has implemented four major support measures:

1. On-site service engineers – Veteran engineer Wu Xinglin has been stationed full-time at the site, providing 24/7 technical support.

2. Construction method expertise – Specialist Gong Jianming, with over 20 years of experience, is guiding operations, optimizing drilling tools and parameters to adapt to geological changes, ensuring precision and efficiency.

3. Spare parts warehouse – A dedicated inventory has been established on-site, guaranteeing parts supply and enabling continuous 24-hour operation.

4. Rapid response mechanism – A task force reports any unexpected issues to senior management within 12 hours for swift resolution.
