China National Machinery Industry Corporation
China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach), formerly known as the First Ministry of Machinery Industry, is a major State-owned enterprise directly managed by the central government.
Formally established in January 1997, Sinomach was built upon approximately 70 research and design institutes, equipment manufacturing, and industrial and trade enterprises inherited from its predecessor—the former Ministry of Machinery Industry.
It is China‘s largest and most comprehensive industrial equipment conglomerate, with the broadest business coverage, strongest R&D capabilities, and highest degree of internationalization in the nation’s machinery sector. In 2016, with approval from the State Council, China Hengtian Group was integrated into Sinomach as a wholly-owned subsidiary.
