Shanghai Pengpu Machine Building Plant Co., Ltd.
Shanghai Pengpu Machine Building Plant Co., Ltd., formerly Pengpu Machine Building Plant, was founded on March 18, 1959. It is a key enterprise in China's construction machinery industry and holds state-granted import/export rights.
As one of China's earliest tracked bulldozer manufacturers, it is known as the "Cradle of China's Tracked Bulldozers." In 2004, the company was restructured through SAIC Group and Shanghai Electric Group, and became a wholly-owned SAIC subsidiary in 2009.
With a registered capital of RMB 1.03 billion, it operates from a 312,000 m² facility at No. 288 Canghai Road, Lingang New Area, Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone. Its main products include 120–410 HP tracked bulldozers, hydraulic excavators, bulldozer-derived and military equipment, as well as heavy non-standard machinery such as rolling mills and cold-rolling tube mills.
