Westchester Tractor recently marked its 50th anniversary with a successful customer appreciation open house held at its Brewster, New York facility on May 29, 2026. More than 300 customers, partners, and industry representatives attended the event, celebrating five decades of commitment to the construction, landscaping, agricultural, and municipal equipment sectors.

Founded in 1976 by John Apple, Westchester Tractor began as a Ford tractor dealership and has since evolved into a leading full-service equipment supplier in the region. Over the years, the company expanded its product portfolio to include renowned brands such as Kubota, KOBELCO, BOMAG, Hitachi, Bandit, Land Pride, and VibroScreen, providing customers with a wide range of equipment solutions.

The anniversary celebration featured equipment demonstrations, product displays, Kubota RTV test rides, mini excavator challenges, and interactive activities for visitors. Representatives from major equipment manufacturers attended the event, offering product insights and technical support while strengthening connections with customers.

Since relocating to Brewster in 2007 and transitioning ownership to Andrew Prusinowski and Matt Apple, the company has continued to grow while maintaining its core values of quality equipment, reliable service, and customer-focused support.
